EU Settlement Scheme

The EU Settlement Scheme allows EU nationals to hold UK immigration status post Brexit, where you are granted either a ‘settled’ or pre-settled’ status.

You will need to apply to the settlement scheme to stay in the UK after 31 December 2020 by 30 June 2021. You will be granted settled status if you have been living in the UK for five years. If you have lived in the UK for less than five years, you can apply for pre-settled status, with the option to apply for settled status once you have continuously lived in the UK for five years.

Who is eligible for EU settled status?

Before you apply for EU settled status, you must be able to show that:

  • You have completed 5 years’ continuous qualifying residence in the UK
  • During the continuous residence, you have spent at least 6 months in any 12-month period in the UK

Our team can assist you with switching your pre-settled status to settled status. We can also help with applications made after the deadline if there are ‘reasonable grounds for the late application.’

Why choose us?

We will always take time to learn about your individual circumstances and offer you advice on your specific needs.
